Black Book: A Haunting Adventure Game

Black Book is a unique blend of adventure games and card-based RPGs that takes you on a haunting journey through the Russian countryside. The game follows the story of Vasilisa, a young sorceress who seeks to uncover the secrets of the demonic artifact called Black Book. With the power to grant any wish to the one who uncovers its seven seals, Vasilisa sets out on a journey to solve the woes of common folk by confronting demons and performing exorcisms.

The game is set in the early XIXth century and is based on Northern Russian mythology. You will solve riddles and complete side-quests to learn more about the cold world of Russia. The game also features an in-game encyclopedia, created with the help of expert anthropologists, which allows you to explore all the folk tales hidden within the game. As you progress, you will collect spell cards and new skills, which you can use to unleash hellish spells on your enemies. You can even send demons to do your bidding, but be careful - idle demons will torture you if you don’t find them something to do!
